We've been doing this for a number of years now, and it's always really fun and really popular. We give you a clay ("greenware") pumpkin. It's solid enough to scrape and cut, but still unfired. In the class you can personalize your ceramic pumpkin and then we fire them so they look like the white bisque you're more familiar with in the studio. THEN you can paint your pumpkin any way you'd like. You can probably imagine the creativity possible here.

Petroglyph is happy to announce new Petro
Gift Cards. These new cards can be 'filled' up with any amount you'd like, and they can be refilled indefinitely. While they make great gifts for that creative friend, they are also nice for kids: Set a budget for your child, fill the card up to that limit, and let them charge their Petro visits on their own "credit card." Kids love it and it helps teach them something about handling finances.
We'll also offer a range of Gift Card specials throughout the year, which we'll post here when they are coming up. So treat yourself or give the gift of Petroglyph: to your co-workers, your staff, your boyfriend (a nice hint) or kids. Available now at all Petroglyph locations!

Petroglyph Santa Cruz was honored to participate in a fundraiser for the women's national cycling team last Monday evening at Gabriella Cafe. We had team mates sign (and otherwise creatively augment) a large platter which will be auctioned off later this season. Guests included winner of the 2008 Tour of California Women's Criterium, Brooke Miller along with members of the USA Cycling Women's National Team Katheryn Curi, Kat Carroll, Alison Starnes, Janel Holcomb, Amy Dombroski and Amber Rais after they concluded the Sausalito-to-Santa Cruz leg of the Amgen Tour of California.
