Invented only a few years ago, it is only now available to artisans (and regular folks). Silver Alchemy clay is a moldable, shapeable, pliable clay-like material that looks and feels like clay did when you were a kid, but you're no kid and this is no clay.

When you make something out of Silver Alchemy clay -- using cookie cutters, molds, rollers, or your sculpting abilities -- once fired in a small kiln, the soft part evaporates and what you are left with is your work in PURE SILVER.

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver (the rest is copper); Silver Alchemy jewelry is 99.9% pure silver, and shines in a way you rarely see in jewelry. It's so easy to use a child can make a pendant or pin or Christmas ornament. An adult with no training can make wonderful charms. A few tricks here and there, and anyone can look like a master jeweler.

Silver Alchemy products are rapidly becoming available nationwide. Since most communities in the US have their own local "paint-your-own" ceramics studios, Petroglyph is first releasing this product through these shops.
